CurrentIn this role I lead a team of Inspector General (IG) personnel managing a diverse array of complaints from civilian, Air Force, Army, Navy EOD school, retirees, and dependents. I ensure prompt and accurate analysis of concerns, directing investigations as necessary, and collaborate closely with key wing offices including EEO, OSI, SFS, PA, and integrated resilience teams. Additionally, I mentor and train military enlisted, officers, and DAF civilians in conducting IG-directed investigations, emphasizing objectivity and standard report processes to resolve allegations based on preponderance of evidence.As a principal advisor to senior leaders, I address negative personnel issues and morale trends while identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement. I play a pivotal role in detecting fraud, waste, and abuse, highlighting instances of gross mismanagement and wrongdoing. I am responsible for directing and conducting interviews and investigative inquiries across multiple channels, including DoD/SAF/IG hotlines, and delivering concise written and verbal communications for investigative reports, replies, referrals, and case transfers.I am recognized for my expertise in ensuring impartial and thorough fact-finding investigations, analyzing evidence, and briefing case summaries to key leaders. Notably, I developed a risk-based data sharing process for IGQ and IGI. My commitment extends to assisting military and civilian complainants with allegations of reprisal, ensuring compliance with primary elements qualifying as reprisal or abuse of authority. These efforts were acknowledged with the Major Command 2021 Lt Gen Flynn Award for the best wing-level complaints resolution program.
