Serve as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner responsible for advanced internal HR consultant supporting organizational performance through coaching, mentoring, and supporting organizational leaders ensuring alignment of departmental practices with organizational goals, and providing informed input into the strategic planning process. As a Senior HRBP I use advanced knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations to provide both tactical and strategic HR support to management. Additionally, as a Senior HRBP, I serve as an employee champion and change agent, partnering with other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver customized, value-added HR solutions.

• Provide leadership for multiple aspects of Human Resources across 4 divisions of the company including Recruiting and Staffing, Employee Training and Development, New Hire Orientation and Onboarding, Performance Management, Workers’ Compensation, Human Capital Planning, Compensation Planning, and Regulatory Compliance.• Work directly with the company President to identify and implement Human Capital strategies for the company.• Collaborate with the Director of Environmental Health and Safety to review employee accidents and Workers’ Compensation claims, and to implement claims reduction strategies.• Attend division leadership meetings quarterly and partner with Division Managers to discuss workforce needs and develop compensation plans for their respective divisions. • Create and post job openings, recruit candidates, interview and screen applicants, schedule interviews, and coordinate pre-employment tests for new hires. • Manage employee disciplinary actions and workplace issues.• Prepare and disseminate performance management reviews weekly, review and process all returned performance management reviews, and address issues with management and employees. • Conduct new hire orientations and lead onboarding programs; process new hire documents into the HRIS system• Audit employee regulatory documents for compliance monthly.• Submit unemployment claims, attend claims, and appeal hearings.

• Served as the executive officer directly responsible for the overall operations of a state-run residential facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. • Directed the organization, recruitment, and training of all staff to provide services for the persons admitted program provided by the facility. • Supervised and mentored 11 executive staff, which included an HR Director, Finance Director, Development Director, IT Director, Medical Director, Nursing Director, Plant Director, and Client Services Program Director. • Managed the development, accountability, and operation of the facility budget. • Oversaw the development, interpretation, and enforcement of the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures necessary for the successful operation of the facility in the delivery of services to the residents. • Served as chairperson of Quality Assurance, Safety, Risk Management, Infection Control, and Life Safety committees. • Represented the interest of the facility and the Department of Mental Health with state officials, civic organizations, and the public. • Assessed the needs of the facility and reported those needs within the priority of the Board of Mental Health.

• Managed the daily operations of a 140-bed facility and led an interdisciplinary team of 150 employees responsible for developing and administering individualized development plans and crisis intervention programs.• Worked with senior management to create policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures; recruited interviewed, and hired employees; monitored employee performance; and developed orientation programs, job performance appraisals, and incentive programs.• Managed staff attendance programs, administered the budget for the department, and managed disciplinary actions and workplace issues.
