Network design, implementation and support for internal city and external ISP networks. Networks utilize OSPF, EIGRP with ISR/ISR G2 routers, ASA5505/5510 and Catalyst 2960/3560/3750 switches. Designed and implemented site-to-site VPNs for all electric, water/sewer SCADA sites. Developed and integrated a custom authentication gateway for city wide wireless Internet service. Designed and deployed significant wireless upgrades to chaska.net the city wide WiFi ISP that increased capacity and reliability.Design, implementation and support of Cisco Unified Communications under virtualization on UCS servers to support the city’s six facilities. Designed, implemented and maintained a web based application to facilitate the collection of paper gaming taxes. This application also served as a point of sale system to generate invoices and track accounts payable/receivable. Provided PC and network support.

Provided second level technical support for Carlson's global operations. Support was primarily provided for Carlson's Windows Server 2003 network. Duties included resolving desktop and server requests, resolving network login issues, VPN connectivity, requests for file backups and restoration, and network printer issues.

Responsible for deployment and implementation of infrastructure upgrades for Target's domestic retail stores. Projects included a nationwide migration to Windows XP Professional from Windows 2000. A nationwide upgrade of Cisco Aironet wireless access points to support wireless VoIP and wireless PDAs.

Responsible for support of the schools Active Directory network in a heterogeneous environment of Microsoft Windows 2000 and Red Hat Linux 8.0. Resolution of network and server related trouble tickets. Deployed and maintained the Microsoft Official Curriculum for the schools lab environment.

Provided desktop and telephone support for Spherix’s proprietary reservation application. Troubleshooting and resolution of VPN, Frame Relay and dialup network connectivity issues. Implemented a web based documentation system to quickly provide configuration documentation for remote sites.
