Primary duties include monitoring security tools (Nessus,Tripwire, SecureVue SIEM, IDS/IPS systems, F5 Application Security Module, and ePO) and collecting and managing system data for reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Duties also include engaging with program teams such as System Administrators, Configuration Management, and Network Engineers, Site Managers, Asset Management, and Project Management to implement mechanisms for identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.

Monitors network equipment, servers, and other devices for proper functionality and performance. Identify, troubleshoot and handles incidents as they occur. Coordinates conference calls and notifications for incident handling, deployments, security patching, and other actives. Utilizes tools such as Spectrum, Control-M, SIEM, and others to monitor servers and network devices. Assists in network and server administration, management and troubleshooting. Additionally, cross trains with and assists the security team with managing email security appliance and network scanning, as well as updating vulnerability tracking and patch compliance.

Configured and setup servers and workstations, including custom train control application. Installed new equipment and application software upgrades as needed. Created and managed local area network for servers. Troubleshot, diagnosed, and resolved technical issues on systems. Servers, workstations, and network configuration based on customer needs and specifications.

Tested and troubleshot RF circuit boards for production of Harris radios. Used and analyzed oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and other electronic test equipment for troubleshooting.

Tested, troubleshot and repaired tactical communication systems. Managed, organized, and trained Marines on maintenance and repair of tactical systems. Used electrical schematics and technical manuals to aid in troubleshooting various communication equipment.
