Hard working problem solver with over 10 years of Additive Manufacturing and Computer Aided Design experience.Passionate helping businesses reach success with Additive Manufacturing.My experience:I've worked with 3D printers for over 10 years in a variety of different contexts. Originally self taught, I purchased a cheap 3D printer kit online when I was a teenager, and learned the intricate ins and outs of how they work, sparking my continued interest in the field. At college and university, I would assist teaching staff and run workshops for other students on 3D printing due to my deeper understanding of not only how the machines work but also their applications. After university, I moved to the world of professional 3D printing, working for a short while at Graphite Additive Manufacturing as a printing technician, then moving to CREAT3D Ltd in a service, repair and installation role. CREAT3D enabled me to gain experience with a wide variety of professional level 3D printers, including UltiMaker, Markforged, Formlabs and MakerBot: I explored how they work, how to fix and service them but also to see how a vast number of real world businesses are using these machines. Industries including Film & TV, the military, Science and Technology, Medicine, Engineering, Manufacturing and many more.I loved identifying what issue the customers were experiencing, and devising a way to solve them. I worked hard to get customers back on track, ensuring their machines were in tip top shape and able to reliably complete the tasks they were purchased for. In my time at CREAT3D, I was sent to Berlin to undertake Fuse 1+ service & repair certification, and completed numerous other certifications enabling me to work with a host of printer brands.Working in education, I outlined a new additive provision for the engineering department, purchasing an UltiMaker S5 and two Formlabs Fuse 1+ 3D printers to bring the department, and college as a whole, to an impressive standing with additive manufacturing and engineering.With the launch of GleaveTech, I aim to bring my expertise to businesses across the UK, putting my problem solving skills and additive manufacturing experience to work identifying how businesses can be elevated using Additive Manufacturing.
