Associate member of firefighters for Christ, Honor Guard Commander for Coral Springs Fire Department an ISO Class 1 fire department in the Fort Lauderdale metroplex. 8 1/2 years federal law enforcement with the United States Coast Guard working with fisheries enforcement, narcotic interdiction and human trafficking. 3 1/2 years of municipal law enforcement with the City of Parkland, Florida. Former DARE officer, firearms instructor, DUI enforcement officer. Chaplain William Glover has been a resident of South Florida for over twenty years. Born and raised in Southwest Texas, he served on the US/ Mexico border as a U.S. Customs Explorer prior to joining the military. While serving for 12 years in the United States Coast Guard as a federal law enforcement officer and a shipboard firefighter, William returned to college to receive his Florida state paramedic certification and his firefighter certification. He worked in the civilian sector as a public safety officer (police officer/ firefighter) for the City of Parkland, Florida, where he certified as a firearms range master, a DUI enforcement officer, and a school resource officer at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Following Parkland’s merger with outside municipalities, William continued his career as a professional firefighter/ paramedic for the city of Coral Springs. William is also an American Heart Association CPR instructor as well as a bleeding control instructor(B-CON). He has been a professional educator, teaching emergency medical technicians and emergency vehicle operations for several years. William is a member of the Broward County Critical Incident Stress Management Team, and he serves as a Clinical leader for Stack-Up.org which assists veterans with PTSD and suicide prevention. I continue to strive for first responder safety and improved mental health. I will not back down, I will not lay down and will never be bought or compromised!
