As a consulting geologist I use my experience and geologic observational techniques to solve complex problems. I am California licensed Professional Geologist, Certified Engineering Geologist, as well as a Certified Small Business. My project experience includes characterization and mitigation of geologic and seismic hazards, geotechnical investigations and construction management of all types of infrastructure, in particular water resource development, conveyance and storage. My professional interests focus on ethics and licensure in geologic practice, research on coastal resiliency and impacts of sea level rise, conservation of natural resources and restoration of natural habitat. I am a Past President of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG).
