As a tax attorney, I have worked in both public and private accounting. I am presently the Global Head of Tax for Inotiv Inc. Inotiv Inc is an impressive growth company, with endless potential. As Inotiv grows, so does our Tax Department. Inotiv Tax supports the company in extremely complex and technically interesting matters. I was the head of tax for Envigo, until Inotiv purchased Envigo in November 2021. In my current role I oversee the preparation of over 1000 returns each year, work with our outside accounting firm to file our consolidated federal and state returns and oversee the inhouse preparation of world wide provision. I continue to work with the finance team to generate a positive, effective, and efficient work culture post merger. As a Tax Manager at the largest CPA firm in Indianapolis, I worked on a diverse list of tax issues ranging from entity tax preparation to representing clients in the US Tax Court. I am a skilled federal/state/local tax return reviewer (entity and individuals), an excellent advocate in state and federal tax audits and a driven tax researcher/writer. As the Manager of North American Tax for a company approach $500 million in sales, I leveraged my skills to reduce cost and create cohesive reporting. To drive down professional fees, I in-sourced all tax audits and maximize my staffs bandwidth to produce quality workpapers. To produce effective reporting, I coordinate and manage both the income tax provision and all tax compliance requirements. Lecturer: In December 2013, I did a CLE on "Accounting for Lawyer" with the IndyBar Association. In January 2014 I was a panelist for a webinar regarding ACA strategies for restaurants presented by the Restaurant Association.
