After over a decade in K-12 education, I recently shifted into the academic publishing and education technology industries. This career transition has allowed me to continue applying knowledge gained during my years in the classroom and actively contribute to the growth and success of educators at the university level. Despite leaving the classroom, I remain deeply committed to a career path that allows me to have a positive influence on education on an innovative team at the forefront of education trends and research. I am also the owner of two popular restaurants based in Lansing; Bangos and Babe's Corner. By night I am a seasoned stand-up comedian performing at clubs, bars, and corporate events. In my free time I produce a podcast called, We Lost A Good One, where I interview different guests about the life of a loved one they have lost.
