I stand by the 3Rs of life: RESPECT- not just other people and their property, but yourself and mother natureRESPONSIBILITY - always, regardless of consequencesRIGHT - always try to do it. Over the last 30 years, I have led HSE and project management initiatives for the oil & gas industry and made my reputation as a focused critical-thinker and professional with an ability to look at the big picture for sound decision-making.I have a sincere passion for my work exemplified throughout my achievements, volunteer experience, certifications, and recognitions. Some examples when I brought resolution to complex issues:➙ Through careful well logging, I identified several leaky-aquifer perched zones, which forced perchloroethylene to different flow paths, dependent on groundwater withdrawal pump stresses. | Wood Group PCE Plume, Midland, Texas.➙ Perchlorate water contamination was in tap water but not in groundwater. During a tour inside the community’s water tower, I asked about lightning strikes and the free chlorine in the tower’s headspace. I postulated that tower strikes may be creating perchlorates. | State Road 114 Superfund, Levelland, Texas➙ Spikes in DNAPLs occurred after large storm events, even though the affected aquifer was confined by ~20 feet of clay overlain by affected sandy soil. After walking the property, and the bounding Alligator Creek, I noticed several large crawfish exoskeletons, one of the species with U-shaped burrows as deep as 30 feet. It was confirmed that DNAPL would roll into these burrows and were injected into the aquifer. | United Creosoting Superfund, Conroe, Texas.
