As the Education Director for the Gun Lake Tribe, I am committed to fostering educational excellence while preserving and promoting Pottawatomi culture. My career journey has been shaped by a deep passion for leadership, mentorship, and the development of both students and colleagues.Before my current role, I served as a Track and Field coach at Western Michigan University, where I had the privilege of guiding athletes to achieve their highest potential. My experience as an educator spans multiple schools, including Gull Lake Middle School, Quincy Middle School, and Bloomingdale Public Schools. In each of these roles, I worked to create inclusive, engaging learning environments that supported the academic and personal growth of my students.In addition to my work in education, I am the owner of NEXT THROW LLC, a private coaching business dedicated to helping track and field athletes excel in their sport. This entrepreneurial venture has allowed me to blend my coaching expertise with my passion for student development.Outside of my professional life, I am a proud husband and father of two children. My dedication to family and my passion for mentorship drive my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those I work with, both in the classroom and on the field.
