Driven to effect change and build a better society, I use my considerable skills and experience to found my own companies, invest in new businesses, and develop real estate investment opportunities. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to build something on my own. As I developed in my professional career and gathered the skills that I would continue to use later in life, I realized that I would work twice as hard for my own dream, and so I did! Starting new businesses is a passion of mine, I’ve founded two: kanopik, an integrated analytics and regional database management platform, and UltumNatureSystems, an acquascaping and aquarium design company, and am in the process of launching a third, PlayEstates. A decentralized autonomous organization that provides a platform for content creators who design games to gain users and for gamers and esports athletes to earn compensation, via tokens, for partaking in their hobby or sport. Additionally, I love helping startups with early funding. Through The Venture Collective fund and as an angel investor, I provide my expertise and capital to aid new businesses in gaining their footing, assessing their viability, and, hopefully, gaining success. I also engage in real estate development. Extending relationships with businesses I engaged with earlier in my professional career, I help with deliverable management, communication, and client relations, to bring developments to reality. Real estate is also a crucial part of PlayEstates, providing a tangible asset to back tokens earned by users. My passion for shaping society continues into my charitable work, including generous donations to established organizations and a self-driven homeless campaign. Annually, my companies collect toiletries, towels, tents, etc. and take them to Skid Row, a homeless encampment in Los Angeles. When not steeped in business activities, you can find me gaming, traveling, or enjoying new food or good music.
