I was part of the team that prepared FPC for initial and accreditation of technical side training programs. After three years I accepted the position of Lead for the maintenance training group. As lead I gave oversight for the Mechanical, Electrical, I&C and Maintenance Supervisor training programs. After 11 years as lead of technical training I accepted a position as I&C/Electrical Supervisor. For the next six years I supervised I&C and Electrical staff. Activates included oversight of jobs, risk assessments, planning of weekly and outage tasks. While in this position I was also on the Human Performance and Safety teams. In 2008 I took a developmental rotation position as Lead Nuclear Auditor. During this time I performed Audits of Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Engineering, Materials, Scheduling, Operations and Technical Training programs/departments throughout the nuclear fleet. Upon completion of this rotation I took a position as a Senior Project Manager and assisted with development of recovery plans at CR 3. In 2011 I was requested to take the Transmission Substation Supervisor position due to the INPO and NRC concerns with switchyard maintenance. I was instrumental in bringing risk assessments and human performance techniques into the North Florida Transmission region. I managed the annual budget and planning for 101 sub-stations as well as budget and planning of outages at four fossil plants and one nuclear plant. Some of the projects include replacements of items as large as the main generator step –up transformers. I retired in January of 2013 and started contracting. I spent 9 months supervising a crew of 6 technician that were developing and performing test procedures on modification to site security equipment at a Diablo Canyon. I then took a contract position in the Nuclear Oversight Group monitoring Major Projects at McGuire Nuclear Station. I was asked to go back to Crystal River and supervised QC and Oversight for dray fuel Storage. When that job completed I am Manager of Quality Assurance for the Vogtle 3&4 new nuclear construction project.
