After the Olympics I made the decision to step away from the nationalcoaching team to take a spot on the newly formed High Performancegroup for Sport Climbing Australia. The decision was made in order tosupport the development of a strategic vision for the sport in Australia andcreate opportunities for new coaches to gain international experience.

In 2015 I undertook the role of National coach to support the developmentof the national youth team. In 2018 I was appointed as the senior openteam coach, culminating in my role at the Tokyo 2020(1) Olympic Games.This role was a volunteer position, which illustrates my dedication to thedevelopment of our sport. In this role I was tasked with organising andundertaking team training events, creating training templates and plans fora variety of athletes, supporting athletes at international events, providingperformance analysis and developing future performance strategies. Somecareer highlights so far have been watching one of my athletes make theirfirst final, and attending the first Olympic Games for sport climbing.

I was the head routesetter and head coach for Bloc Haus for a short periodin 2018, leaving due to an offer from a competing gym chain. I was incharge of delivering the routesetting program and the coaching programfor Victoria's largest bouldering gym, upskilling a very new routesettingteam, creating a new coaching program, as well as logistics and orderingfor Bloc Haus’s partner hold importing company BOULD.
