William Hancock has more than 10 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry working for institutional owners and capital providers and has expertise in acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence and asset and portfolio management. William has been involved in the acquisition, financing, and asset management of literally thousands of assets worth in excess of $7 billion. He has been involved in every role from leasing agent to owner which gives him the edge to maximize returns for his investors.Most recently he was Senior Vice President | Senior Director in NorthMarq’s Mortgage Banking Division where he focused on originating agency, balance sheet and bridge loans. He also specialized in full stack capitalizations including joint venture and preferred equity. During his time in mortgage banking, he capitalized over $7 billion in debt and equity placements. Prior to working at NorthMarq, William was with Wellington, a real estate investment firm, where he worked in many areas including acquisitions and asset management for multifamily, industrial, office and retail. Preceding Wellington, William began his multifamily expertise with Myan Management where he oversaw different areas of property level management. In total William has been instrumental in the capitalization of over 30,000 units of multifamily and worked on over 300,000 square feet of retail space, as well as, leased more than 1.2 million square feet of office space.William received a BS from Texas A&M where he majored in Agriculture Leadership and Development with an emphasis on Economics. William lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and 2 daughters.
