I am very fortunate to have enjoyed a successful manufacturing career spanning over 32 years that included management positions in quality assurance, maintenance, engineering, continuous improvement, customer service and business development. During this time I was able to learn and grow as both a Union official and ultimately a management representative. Having this comprehensive background, I find it easy to relate to what companies and people face on a daily basis – from top line growth to bottom line results; work, family, play balancing - and I enjoy sharing this knowledge with others.Outside of work I enjoy being involved in my community. I am the current Vice Chairman of the Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority, Board member at the Wyoming Valley West West School District, Board member of the Thomas R. Marvel Scholarship Fund (through Luzerne Foundation), Board member of the Hoyt Library and President of the Back Mountain Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. I remain a longtime member of the George M. Dallas Masonic Lodge and Irem Shrine Center in Dallas, PA. Past community involvement includes being an 11-year member of the Board of Governors at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia where I served and chaired on numerous committees and currently remain as an Emeritus member and I served as a Board member for 10 years at the United Way of Wyoming Valley.I believe that community involvement is very important in order to provide opportunity for growth and excellence for me and especially, those impacted within my community. To accomplish this, I strive to combine my business knowledge and background, philanthropic and community interests and personal goals and aspirations as foundations in my daily activities.
