MaxwellWith more than 45 years’ experience working in the rail industry, including the metropolitan & private sectors, I have been able to demonstrate strong leadership abilities. Throughout my career, I have proven my skills & knowledge in management through the planning & execution of large close-downs. For example, during my tenure with RailCorp, I successfully renewed sections of the NSW metropolitan rail system & worked on complex brownfield rail projects that run adjacent to live/running lines. Most recently, I have managed the rail systems section on the North West Rail & CBD light rail tender bids. These were billion dollar infrastructure projects that brought about more capacity for passengers. I managed the projects in a way that didn’t cause any major disruptions to the community & its businesses.I have learned, over the years, to keep everything running even while overseeing the most complex railway projects. My goal is, & always has been, to see projects reach a successful conclusion & I have the drive, dedication & loyalty to ensure the proper requirements are delivered & met to ensure that success. I lead my railways through change in way that brings about a positive company image & an increase in profitability. As someone who can clearly see the larger picture, I can put into place the proper mechanisms & strategic solutions to circumvent problems before they occur. My ability to work in a collaborative environment ensures I can discuss issues with everyone from engineers to clients & relay the information in a way that is easily understood. Specifically speaking, I successfully led the Cronulla alliance project through commissioning & demonstrated strong leadership & consistent performance during the Liverpool Turnback as measured against all of the KRAs. Both projects were brought all the way through successful commissioning.
