Super excited to join the Honeywell Sensing and IOT team in Richardson recently. Every once and a while an opportunity comes along that just smacks you in the face and says "Stop, you can really make a difference here".That is what The Honeywell SIOT site did to me, it said, here is a family of people who are doing some incredible work and you can be a part of that family and accomplish something wonderful in the process.So, here I am, massive task in front of me, but that's what makes life interesting. I get to build a new Software engineering team from the ground up, Implement all manner of new technology, deploy next gen MES and automation, Play the Pseudo Site CTO, and work with truly a family, not just a bunch of employees.More to come in updates as things progress..............

What a great gig with an awesome group of people. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to develop new business, run a company, and still get into the factory all the time with the processes and people I appreciate most.We got to push the boundaries of technology around MES, RFID, RTLS, and other facets in order to help factories of all kinds. Going to take a break from the consulting world for a bit now and go back to my roots in Semiconductor, and take all that I have learned and built up over the years around the world and try to help one Site / Factory break the light speed barrier so to speak!

Moved into this role through the merger of Compaq and HP and had driven global solution development since 2002 for a number of industry verticals ranging across Semiconductor, Solar, Medical Device, Aerospace & Energy.Primary role is in leading / architecting projects to simplify and automate factories globally. Projects range from top to bottom MES / CIM implmentations to activities on improving manufacturing fundamentals (5S/6S, TPM, Lean Sigma, OEE, etc)
