About William Hawkins

My life has been exciting and varied from destitution as a child through the military and taking my years of experience into social services management. At the moment I am diverting all of my energy into improving the welfare of British Armed forces Veterans living in Wales and those warriors still deployed who will one day join our ranks. My interests lie in sociology, Psychology, Psychiatry and Social policy and Law/Politics, PTSD and all of its aspects, mental health in military life, learning whilst I continue to breathe, Bhuddism, Philosophy, social justice, Pink Floyd,My likes eclecticism, egalitarianism, the loyalty of my veteran comrades in arms.Things that make me smile hope, humour of quality, military humour, children our only hope,My dislikes are political corruption, the class war and class system, mis-use of police authority and powers, the erosion and asset stripping of the welfare state, conservatism in its entireity. The persecution of the poor, the elderly and disabled via conservative social policy and the transference of blame from the wealthy to the poor for economic chaos in Britain.
