As a Cyber Security Consultant at Virginia Department of Elections, I worked with a team of IT professionals to ensure the security and integrity of the state's voting systems and data. I applied my knowledge of information security principles, tools, and best practices to perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and risk mitigation. I also communicate effectively with various stakeholders, such as election officials, vendors, and auditors, to provide recommendations and solutions for improving the cyber resilience of the election infrastructure.In addition to my consulting role, I was a Food Server at P.J. Skidoos, a popular restaurant and bar in Fairfax. I balanced my work and academic responsibilities, while delivering excellent customer service, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies, and I am pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at George Mason University, with a focus on cybersecurity. I have completed several courses and projects related to network security, cryptography, digital forensics, and ethical hacking, and I am eager to apply and expand my IT skills in the cybersecurity field.
