-manage education quality assurance visits to local education and training boards (LETBs), deaneries, medical schools and local education providers (LEPs) in the UK and internationally (visits have included overseas programmes in Malta and Germany).-represent the GMC to external partners in assigned regions of the UK (South West, Wessex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex), ensuring open communication about our quality assurance. Taken ownership of all visiting and monitoring activity taking place in these regions. -led regular engagement meetings with Health Education England, across various regions, to ensure collaborative working.-support the analysis of evidence about the quality of education.-work with colleagues to analyse and assess risk and potential good practice in order to identify areas of focus for the GMC's quality assurance work.-prepare education evidence reports for a range of purposes both internal and external. Including regional quality surveillance groups, quality scrutiny group, risk summits and the Care Quality Commission.-support various Education Quality Assurance Programme Manager to manage a portfolio of serious educational concerns within the enhanced monitoring process. I have also attended these high profile visits on my own. -provided consistent and accurate advice on education data, including data about serious education concerns, to a variety of external stakeholders and to the public.-identified opportunities for continual business improvement and participated in business improvement work.-attended meetings supporting the development and implementation of monitoring and review, such as quarterly deanery/LETB quality managers, school quality leads and medical Royal College quality lead meetings.-trained new members of the team

My role was as a Casework Manager for applications for entry to the GMC’s Specialist Register by the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) route. The main responsibility of this role was to write up evaluations for CESR applicants and then chair meetings with established surgeons to discuss the cases. I provided comprehensive support to the specialist assessment panels by circulating applications and supporting papers whilst dealing with enquiries from prospective applicants.

Part time work during University holidays. I was a member of the Visitor Services team and had daily interaction with members of the public.
