Member of System Verification Team performing Voice over IP feature and load verification on the Genband Session Border Controller in integrated and distributed architectures. Primarily focused on Load Testing using the IXIA and EXFO call load generators. VOIP call validation with SIP, RTP, TLS and SRTP.Testing of Narrow and Wide band CODECS with SIP calls. G.711, G.729, EVRC, EVRC-B, AMR, AMR-WB etc.Responsible for architecting, improving, and maintaining the Lab infrastructure.Supported Global Logics contractors – Setup load test beds to enable testers.Created test beds, wrote, and executed tests for Genband’s integrated and distributed appliance solutions as well as NFV ACS and AMS distributed cloud solutions running on Openstack. Provided customer demonstrations of the Genband solutions under load to prospective customers.

Member of the SVE organization primarily responsible for the testing of SIP/MGCP, TDM (SS7 and ISDN), RTP, digit translation, Call Routing and load testing of the Safari C3.Created and executed functional and load test plans. Responsible for architecting, improving, and maintaining the Lab infrastructure.(Cisco and Juniper Routers)Developed a system level load test bed for the Safari C3 with Navtel and Nethawk to generate sip and mgcp calls over the tdm network.

Member of the IP System Test Engineering group responsible for testing software for the BayRS router, Versalar, Shasta BSN and MPE projects. Required a thorough practical knowledge of IP and routing. Compiled test plans (from RFC's, Design and functional specifications) and performed QA testing for the following features: Performance Testing, B-ras (Broadband Remote Access Server), L2TP, Ethernet, Traffic Shaping, Frame Relay, Point to Point Protocol, OSPF, MPLS (LDP, BGP-4 2547bis), IGMP, BGP4, DHCP, DNS and NAT.Included use of the of Spirent ADTECH, Netcom Smartbits, IXIA, W&G, Ethereal, NetXray, and Network General Sniffer protocol analyzers and proprietary test devices.This position also required the following: use of CLARIFY database for logging and tracking software bugs; working along with developers; testing fixes in workspaces; logging of testcases using TCAT and TCAR and scheduled status reports.

Member of the System Integration Test Engineering group responsible for the test and integration of the following technologies: VLAN, Switching, Routing and Bridging. Media types tested: ATM, FDDI, Ethernet and Fast Ethernet.Protocols: TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, ICMP, SNMP, YPbind, Bootp, FTP, Telnet, Netbios, Novell, Appletalk, MacTCP, Decnet & Banyan Vines. Performance testing with Smartbits and W&G analyzers along with proprietary test devices.
