Because I was always ahead on studies, I had the opportunity to man the snack cart for virtually entire days, from Monday to Friday. This duty involved: handling money; storing it in an intermediate safe location before locking it up at the end of each day; handling inventory; selling and making recommendations to children, teens, and adults alike; walking around the entire school with the cart in order to drum up business in case it was slow; strategic placements of the cart during the end of the day or large events in order to capitalize on the busy foot-traffic. Honestly, it was really fun.
