I have always wanted to be in Sales, realising this as I looked to understand consumer’s needs at School from the early age of 14. I have now taken this practical and real life understanding, and combined this with the theory and education gained from successfully completing my Marketing Degree at Sheffield Hallam. I love to engage and communicate with customers, looking to continuously develop and improve my techniques to make me a successful Sales person. I am hugely sociable, and though my Army Cadet Instructor training I enjoy working either in a team, or leading a team in a pressurised environment. I have worked in many different sectors, from Fast Foods, the hotel and leisure industries. I believe I gained the most development and satisfaction from my time at Scribblers Ales, due to the Business to Business relationships I had to develop and then maintain.Over the last few years with Blinds 2 Go I have held several different positions and managed to progress through the company, whilst they received massive growths to there sales after the COVID lockdown. I have held the role of both Sales Account Manager, where my job is to not just take inbound calls but to look after long term trade customers and also source new sales from direct routes of marketing. I have also been a Customer Outreach Manager during my time to further learn new skills and better round myself off as an individual. The main purpose of this was looking after the Social Media channels, however also handling complaints that come in through this and TrustPilot. We actively sort to contact customers to change there reviews and was very successful at increasing Blinds 2 Go's public image. As an individual, I believe I am able to offer as a Salesman, someone who is a highly motivated team player, who is loyal and reliable, but also someone who understands the requirement to smash their target. Whilst I have areas to develop, I believe I can quickly pick up on peoples perception and requirements and adjust my pitch accordingly. I do speak my mind, however I make sure I am professional at all times. Most importantly I believe you can never learn enough, and I am very eager to build and develop my professional career. I consider completing my Marketing degree as my biggest achievement, coupled with my Junior cadet instructor training, and my A Level results. However how many people have helped and been involved in building a house!.
