I'm a senior at CSUMB, pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science, and I'm planning to graduate in December 2024. I'm currently leveraging my skills as a teaching assistant for the Software Engineering course, where I guide over 70 students in Agile software development practices and help them build complex team-based software projects. I previously worked as a teaching assistant for the Software Development course, focusing on object-oriented programming with a focus on Java and Android app development.As a teaching assistant, I monitor and evaluate student progress on group projects, assist with debugging and problem-solving, provide feedback on assignments, and ensure students are prepared for exams. This experience has strengthened my skills in code review, problem resolution, and clear communication, especially when guiding others through technical challenges.My academic journey has led me to develop a passion for data science and machine learning, which inspired me to shift my concentration. I’m passionate about uncovering insights through data visualization and leveraging machine learning to solve complex problems. I look forward to applying these skills to advancing machine learning models and artificial intelligence applications, contributing to solutions in industries like natural language processing and predictive systems.
