I have worked in the manufacturing industry for over 42 years. For half that time I have been owner and CEO of HindlePower, Inc., the industry leader for utility battery chargers and DC power systems. Our company has enjoyed year after year of growth, our company culture has been highlighted in Industry Week and we’ve won many awards for “Best Place to Work”. We have risen to the top of our industry for one reason, the people. My career has been driven by the idea that the best way to grow your company is to grow your people. The purpose of our company is to improve the quality of the lives of our employees, we just happen to make battery chargers.When I was 60 years old, I went back to school for a Master of Fine Art with a particular focus in oil painting. Through the development of my art, I honed my vision. I learned that much like a painter must include certain elements to paint a masterpiece, a leader must develop elements within their organization to create a masterpiece in their company culture.The Hindle is a project that allows me to share these insights.
