Since WWG’s Southern California-based inception in 1994, Bill has been the principal force behind its strategic corporate vision and dynamic brand story. Operating under the trade name of StorQuest Self Storage, the brand continues to disrupt the storage market through progressive thinking and innovative technology. Through its dynamic approach, WWG has successfully partnered with many of the nation’s largest capital firms and positioned itself as one of the top private operators in the storage industry, managing a portfolio in excess of $2 billion dollars.Bill has an active hand in the various state and national self storage trade associations. He has served as a keynote speaker at numerous national and international trade conferences, past Board Director of the National Self Storage Association (SSA), Founder, past President and Board Director of the California Self Storage Association (CSSA), and maintains current memberships across numerous other state associations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.Bill has a rooted passion for philanthropy and family. Leading the charge to partner with One Tree Planted, StorQuest adopted a one-for-one model that plants a tree for every unit rented and funds environmental reforestation projects in each StorQuest community. He is currently a Board Director of the Charlotte & Gwenyth Gray Foundation to cure Batten disease, Board Member and Chairman of the Investment Committee for the Self Storage Association Foundation, and active in numerous other California-based charities.
