Dauphin Highlands is a public course that can stretch out to be just under 7,200 yards. The course is located in central Pennsylvania that gets more than 50,000 rounds per year. I was able to work alongside other professionals to give members and public play the best experience playing golf. I was also involved in help run junior golf camp, single lessons, cost of goods inventory, tee sheet management with G1 software, and help set up and run multiple tournaments throughout the year. Other activities that I was involved in were the USGA handicap, strategic ideas to boost revenue in the pro shop and perform club repairs.

As a practicum worker I was able to do many different jobs to help me learn how to properly set up, run, and tear down a sports event. Within helping run the event during my freshman year I worked the live feed, game flow, scoring table, and helped out in the concession stand. My sophomore year I was concession stand manager, event desk assistant, and building supervisor trainee. While being event desk assistant my job was to help the away team and officials get to the proper locker rooms and help out in any way they needed. The building supervisor trainee I got to learn different aspects of the building by doing head counts, routine building walks, and also had a checklist to go to different areas of the Grumbacher Sport and Fitness to make sure everything is up to guidelines.

While being at Highlands of Donegal I worked in the pro shop of the golf course. Within the pro shop I ran the cash register, did club repairs, re-gripped clubs, and ran tournaments. Also I would help out in the bar by serving food and drinks when they needed help.

I worked at a Cub Scout camp doing different areas throughout my four summers. I worked at the shooting range teaching and helping kids learn how to properly and safely work a B.B. gun and a bow and arrow. I also worked at the pool helping kids learn how to swim and pool safety. Last I worked as the BMX co-director helping kids learn to ride a bike and supervising them while they rode on a dirt track.
