11/25/2024Hello,I am a Level 2 software engineer working within aerospace embedded systems. I've found a passion working within low-level software such as C and C++. Working within code bases that require a good understanding of embedded software to complete discrete tasks can be challenging, but this is where my passion derives. Solving complex computational problems with extensible and efficient design and code implementation is what truly gives me my joy. While working for some time within in my current position I have found that the most efficient designs are the ones that are easy to read, follow, and get the job done with the least amount of overhead. While in this work-flow, I always keep in mind important design patterns and anti-patterns. Since the architecture at a high-level is what will drive my development in the future, I find this very important…On the other hand, when working to create functionality and features an important tool I take with me is my knowledge of registers, memory, and data structures. Working in a language that manipulates the OS at a lower level requires a good breadth of knowledge of these objects to create the most efficient logic and data structures. Taking all of this knowledge, I love to find the most effective way to solve my issues. I utilize every tool at my disposal until I find an answer that best suits the needs of my program and stakeholders. From this I hope you learned what I'm truly passionate about within my work!
