Key contributor in development of B2B / EDI Translator application. Secondary support for additional middleware applications including but not limited to Dell Boomi. Lead contributor to ensure the technical realization of IT solutions in the EDI and business-to-business integration space and that they are designed and implemented to meet business and technical requirements. Responsible for ensuring solutions are in accordance with organizational guidelines, standards, reference architecture, and best practices. Worked closely with project teams, analysts, Business Intelligence, Program Management Office to ensure overall integrity and scalability of solutions and ensure off-the-shelf applications that are part of the solution architecture are configured and implemented to the standards of the overall enterprise architecture.Duties and Responsibilities • Analyze, assess and optimize existing EDI processes • Develop enhancements to address, prevent and resolve business issues • Develop, maintain and operate (as necessary) EDI application • Assist in design, development, maintenance and operation (as necessary) of all proprietary products and workflow tools used within Integrations Area • Help plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with cross functional teams for EDI project implementation • Project management • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch application • Perform capacity planning and impact analysis.

B2B Process Integration enables automated data flows between applications and customers business systems. This is done by building translation maps for business transactions using a mapping tool Contivo Analyst, that convert files between any standard or custom format and an internal canonical structure.Maps convert global data standards, including GS1 EPCIS, X12, SAP IDocs and others, and internal XML, to build transaction interfaces for serialization, track and trace, compliance, traditional supply chain and many other existing and emerging business processes. These standards provide a common platform that customers and their trading partners can use to simplify and standardize data integration interfaces with company applications.Creating conversion maps is a complex multi-step process that requires close collaboration with multiple internal and external stake holders. These include the Product Management, Development, Services, QA, and Technical Documentation teams, trading partners, both customers and non-customers. Key steps in map development process include:Gathering data requirements for transactions and interfaces.Working with PM to finalize transaction and interface design.Designing, developing and documenting canonical XML schema.Designing, developing and documenting external transaction schema and interface formats.Defining map specifications that serve both our map developers and QA testing requirements.Delivering high quality integration maps and map update releases on schedule using our Contivo Analyst map developer tool.Working closely with QA and Services to ensure that integration maps are thoroughly tested before releasing into our system.Developing and documenting standards and best practices for map development that can be passed on to future hires.Serving as a center of knowledge and excellence for schema and map development processes and procedures.
