• Compiled databases of past deals for underwriters so that they could price new similarly sized and rated deals by municipality • Read Preliminary Official Statements (mainly metro districts) and created a database in excel detailing the conditions of the deals (acreage, developer, primary & secondary taxes)• Created visual aids (graphs and charts) using bond volume data to be used by underwriters in presentations to public universities on upcoming deals• Compiled database ranking sales production of bonds by total sales, primary, secondary, designated and each as a percent of total volume • Made weekly schedule using Munibond for traders outlining the upcoming deals for the next week (rating, amortization schedule, etc.)• Used EMMA (Electronic Municipal Market Access) to compile database of all Municipal deals in Colorado dating back to January 1st, 2016 (calculated takedowns, size, type, and rating)• Majority of time was spent shadowing underwriters and learning about how deals were priced and what went into those calculations
