Managing a team of highly skilled systems engineers responsible for configuring and delivering Boeing 737MAX to airline customers in the North and Latin America regions.

Developing new Avionics and flight deck features that meet industry needs and programs objectives. Managing the change progress through development, approval, implementation and certification phases. Provide customer communications to introduce and explain features availability and operational impacts.

Managing customers’ technical configurations by leading configuration discussions and coordinating customer requirements with design teams. Managing configuration changes through applicable technical review boards and change boards. Leading cross-functional teams (from Engineering, Supplier Management, Contracts, and Business Operations) on various projects to ensure fulfilling of company commitments and customers needs.

Performing various analyses to optimize designs in order to minimize weight and enhance architecture. Performing analysis for design affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, and inspect-ability while conforming to Boeing and regulatory (FAA) certification requirements. Leading investigations of supplier process controls and its impact on Air frame structures. Leading the fuselage stress team.

Managing customers’ technical configurations by initiating and coordinating configuration changes. Communicating customer design change requests and seeking program approval. Formulating and communicating customer technical requirements and its intended functions during the change phases. Leading airplane delivery activities during customer inspection and customer flight. Resolving cross-functional technical issues prior to and during the delivery events to ensure on time title transfer and flyaway. Providing awareness of customer sensitive issues to the factory and delivery teams, and addressing any necessary changes.

Developing structural repair plans, and supporting its implementation to a wide range to in-service related damages while accommodating customer schedule and resources restrictions. Reviewing and approving structural repair planes to in-service related structural damages and inspection results. Developing analysis to show compliance and obtaining FAA approval documents. Supporting Airplane-on-ground (AOG) conditions for Airlines and MROs by providing structure repairs and approvals on a timely manner to support airplane return to service schedule.

Evaluating factory and supplier manufacturing escarpment and impact on 767 Fuselage Structures. Supporting detail design of parts and assemblies (e.g. Skin, Stringers, Frame elements, door surrounding structure, and Tailcone structure). Collaborating with design, tooling, M&P and manufacturing/ fabrication teams to ensure design solutions meet the functional and operational requirements. Supporting conceptual design phase and business case for Major Joint design change “Paddle Fittings at Final Body Joints”.
