My current position is as Account Manager for GeniWatt, where I am the main point of contact between Geniwatt and the other European FG Wilson Dealers.GeniWatt operates the European Inventory Hub for FG Wilson, with more than 400 gensets in stock. So my role is to act as a focal point for any requests for gensets from the GeniWatt European Inventory Hub for all FG Wilson Dealers.I regularly prepare and send Geniwatt stock lists to each FGW Dealer. But I also proactively call the dealers to find out if they have any business opportunities where Geniwatt could assist them. I also ask for input from the other dealers into what models, quantities and specifications that GeniWatt should have in stock. Our aim in GeniWatt is to develop long lasting, trusting relationships with our clients. So my aim is to travel often to meet our fellow Dealers face to face. I feel this is the best way to understand the other dealers’ needs and preferences, and build understanding and cooperation between our companies.

Consulted with dealers to market Caterpillar products and services and assist in the development of dealer sales capability. Counsel dealers in developing increased performance capability. Provide guidance on existing and potential customer service issues and improvement measures. Assist dealers on forecast, sales/rental/used strategy planning and sales. Support roll-out of new Cat Electric Power Division (EPD) products. Analyse and communicate marketplace and competitive activity to Caterpillar personnel and dealers. Analyse product application, configuration and utilization that provide the best solution for a customer. Assist dealers with business planning for Cat EPD products. Help to create and promote programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization.

First point of contact for dealers regarding genset business. Work closely with factory, Demand Management team & Scheduling Dept to keep dealer / customer informed regarding order Status. Make every attempt to improve on lead times for high profile orders. Travel to new & existing dealerships throughout Europe to assist with dealer set-up & systems training. Assist dealers / customers in all aspects of EPD business where required. Maintain Eurostock process. Actively seek & work on Six Sigma projects & RIW’s (Rapid Improvement Workshop’s) via green belt support.
