CurrentBill Irwin has been Corporate Security Director at two Fortune 500 companies and Vice President of Security Operations for International SOS, a global assistance company with offices around the world. Since joining Weston in 2003, Bill has designed, developed and implemented security programs for construction projects in the USA, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Taiwan, US/Mexico Borderlands, and American Embassies in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. He was the National Industrial Security Program Manager supporting classified contracts for the Departments of Defense, Energy and State, where he guided Weston’s facility clearance upgrade from Secret to Top Secret, with a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency rating of “Superior”.Bill holds a MBA from the University of Saint Thomas in Minneapolis, MN, a postgraduate diploma in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, and a certificate in International Security Studies from Georgetown University. He served as a Marine Rifle Platoon Sergeant in Vietnam and later received a direct commission in Naval Security Group Command, assigned to the National Security Agency. He then served 25 years as a Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Bill is a Certified Protection Professional with ASIS International; the founding chairman of the Liberty Chapter of NCMS--the Society of Industrial Security Professionals; a life member of the Association of Former OSI Special Agents and the Police Chiefs Association of Bucks County; a retired member of the Pennsylvania Police Chiefs Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police; a charter member of the Domestic Security Alliance Council; and the Defense Industrial Base Sector Chief for the Philadelphia Chapter of InfraGard.
