As the IT Manager for the Alfred E. Mann Institute at the University of Southern California, I manage the IT operations and security for a leading biomedical research center that develops and commercializes innovative medical devices. I have been in this role for over 19 years, and I hold a CISSP certification, which demonstrates my proficiency and credibility in IT security.I oversee the IT infrastructure, systems, and policies for the institute, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and reliability. I also collaborate with the research and development teams, providing IT support and solutions for their projects and initiatives. Some of the technologies I work with include databases, software development, and gate array design. I am passionate about applying IT to address real-world challenges and improve human health and well-being.
