I have been in the workforce since I was 17. I'm now 62, and having a very difficult time looking for work. Over my 45 years of work, I have worked with the Federal Government of Canada, Diamond Gaming Services, Griff's Cavern (St. Clair College), Royal City Star Casino, Giraffe American English (Taiwan) - to name a few. After returning to Canada in 2018, I had to wait for a year before I could attend school, or for that matter, hold a job until after being in the province for 365 consecutive days.I took the PSW course at Westervelt College, and landed my final work at Chelsey Park Long Term Care. Now, I find myself unemployed for the first time in my life, with absolutely no connection with anyone in London, except my sister.Some of the positions I have held are: cook, prep cook, waiter, teacher, file clerk, import/export licensing, tutoring, PSW.
