From his tenure at Paramount Pictures, Hollywood, to his current award-winning projects independently produced under the banner of his company, Shooting Star Creativeworks, Bill Jacobs has spent three decades as a producer, director, writer, editor, animation and graphics designer, and musical composer of film and video. Bill has worked with actors such as Al Pacino, Diane Lane, Tommy Lee Jones, and Richard Gere, and produced projects for clients ranging from Disney to Proctor & Gamble.Currently, Bill and his producing partner, John Killwey, are focusing their expertise and energy in completing postproduction on the independent feature film “When the Moon was Twice as Big”(written & directed by Bill). The film stars Paul Hickert and Sammy Curcuru, with an all-star supporting cast of Mary Jo Catlett (SpongeBob SquarePants, The Champ), Oakes Fegley (Pete's Dragon, The War With Grandpa, The Goldfinch), Brain Anthony Wilson (The Wire, The Postman, Limitless, The Happening), William Bogert (Heaven Can Wait, Dog Day Afternoon, WarGames).
