This summer I served as a judicial intern with the Metro Atlanta Business Case Division. In my role, I analyzed pending motions, conducted legal research, and made recommendations. My research included complex contract interpretation issues involved in areas such as securities litigation and breach of contract. I analyzed and made recommendations on outstanding motions including: Motions to Dismiss, Compel, Provide a Protective Order, Summary Judgement, and Judgement on the Pleadings. I attended trial, bench trials, and various court proceedings held via Zoom.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

I previously interned with U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson in Washington, D.C. As part of the finance and banking policy team, I analyzed legislation such as the Dodd-Frank Reform bill passed in March, 2018. I researched the effect of the recently enacted Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as well as evaluated news coverage of the law. Drafted memorandums of Senate Finance and Banking committee hearings. I attended a number seminars, briefings, and hearings regarding financial issues such as CFIUS reform.

Greater Atlanta Area

I interned with the investments team at North American Properties. Some of my primary roles included creating financing packages, analyzing financial data, market research, and updating/improving the current record keeping methods (building excel templates, gathering data, etc). I created a number of summer long projects in which I found adaptive uses for old spaces. I analyzed bond agreements and abstracted leases in order to update the companies proforma.

Norcross, Ga

Update: Recently I assisted my families' business during the COVID-19 pandemic. I helped create spreadsheets for proper unemployment filing on behalf of the companies employees during the shutdown preventing us from hosting any events. In addition, I communicated with Governor Kemp's office to implement new safety measures, proper social distancing policies, and additional employee screening once our business was allowed to reopen. Since I was about 15 years old, I have been working at my families banquet facility in Norcross, GA. The reason, I have listed my position as project manager is because my positions widely vary. I have done things from landscaping, painting, bartending, and cooking just to name a few. I continue to work here on weekends when my help is needed, or I am home from school.

In high school, I started a business of social media marketing. I did this through Twitter. My daily job was to use a combination of pictures, texts, and trends to grasp a larger audience. As my accounts grew in size and quality of users, I was able to begin promoting advertisements, apps, and websites. In addition, I was able to profit from helping others to grow their accounts. While this was a great business to be involved in, I decided it was best to focus on my college studies, so I no longer have any business accounts.

In high school, I started a company called motivation bands. My friends and I, whom both had social media accounts as shown above, thought of a business opportunity. We decided to use our social media presence to see if people would be interested in nylon motivational wristbands. As the co-founder, I was in charge of product design and marketing. I learned networking skills and was able to see which types of marketing worked best for our product to reach our audience. Also, I was responsible for determining which products were most appealing to our consumer base through a polling process. Even though I only did this for about a year, I think that it shows my entrepreneurship skill by creating a profitable company from the ground up.
