Hi there! My name is William "Jay" Hanlon. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been working for Fidelity Investments since October 2019. My present title is Implementation Project Manager. I am responsible for onboarding various 401(k) plans to Fidelity. Before this, I provided top notch financial planning for participants in Fidelity 401(k) plans as a Workplace Planning Consultant by building comprehensive, tailored investment solutions designed for overcoming any obstacles in the way of a dignified and successful retirement.Previously, I was a member of the Tax-Exempt Markets Defined Contributions team in Merrimack, NH. I helped process transactions such as withdrawals, loans, exchanges and anything else I can help with in regards to retirement savings accounts. Prior to working with Fidelity, my role was Project Manager in the Practice Improvement Division of Massachusetts General Hospital for Partners Healthcare. I worked on various projects with the goal of streamlining the delivery of top quality health care in a safe, compassionate environment; to advance that care through innovation and research; and to improve the health and well-being of the diverse communities MGH serves. In addition to this, I am a graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder Class of May 2018. I studied English and Business as an undergraduate at CU. At the university, I developed strong critical thinking skills and honed my writing ability: I learned new ways to think about innovation in finance, marketing, and business development. I spent roughly five years between 2011 and 2016 working in the restaurant industry as a server, busser, and host. My most recent role in this capacity was a busser / host at Snooze: an A.M. Eatery. In 2014, I worked for the Town of Dedham Human Resources Office as an intern. If I had to pick three words to describe myself, they would be motivated, critical, and curious. In my spare time, I like to ski steep glades, enjoy Boston Celtics basketball, and spend time with my loved ones.
