Led, guided, and directed 40+ subject matter experts who provide the necessary transportation, supplies, engineering, maintenance, and services to support an organization of nearly 8,000 employees in training and operations on the western seaboard, to project U.S. air power and cooperate with partners and allies to promote peace and prosperity. Supervised and provided oversight of supply programs, policies and procedures supporting the management of accountability, sourcing, distribution, and disposition of millions of dollars of equipment belonging to 17 organizations within the 3d Marine Aircraft Wing operating globally. Performed technical duties as performing file maintenance, providing quantitative research, analysis, and support, developing, and analyzing metrics, and recommending corrective actions. Also responsible for analyzing trends pertaining to the organization’s material management processes for maintenance operations.• Formulated and executed a budget of over $1M annually including expenses for items such as training, travel, facilities contract, and office supplies. Managed a budget using applications such as Purchase Request (PR) Builder, SABRS Management Analytical Retrieval Tools (SMARTS), and Global Combat Support System- Marine Corps (GCSS-MC).• Conducted operational audits for equipment maintenance and materiel readiness. This included financial analysis and processes. Ensured all first-line supervisors were conducting daily operations in compliance with the organization’s policies and directives. Trained first-line supervisors in financial and supply administration procedures which has resulted in all low-risk areas during organizational internal audits and inspections.• Developed a paperless business model using existing systems, such as Microsoft OneNote for the organization to digitally document supply and maintenance actions to increase accountability and auditability that reduced overhead and maximized the use of existing systems.
