Manage seven $MM strategic accounts with accountability for improving value proposition to increase market share. Oversee six value streams that include metal lasers, water jets, CNC press brakes, robotic welding, CNC mills, and trucking. Manage full-service shop, including production processes.

Managed two-shift $50M YoY plant with 85 union and non-union employees, of which 11 were direct reports. Accountabilities included full P&L, plant operations, and implementation of Six Sigma and Lean Practices to increase profit margins and improve OTD and quality. Selected Achievements:◼Maintained a strict 99% OTD◼Increased EBITDA from 6.7% to 11.4% by closely managing labor and output with little to no overtime◼Implemented Kaizen events, including product flow measurements and employee movement◼Ensured highest safety rate and zero OSHA issues by consistently hosting training and safety meetings for the staff◼Effectively managed high-volume production plant that produced +/-1000 axles per shift and generated $1M weekly

Promoted to direct three plants in Phoenix, Illinois, and Georgia with full P&L ownership of up to $30M and a total of 20 direct and 275 indirect reports. Worked and implemented Caterpillar Production Systems and focused on strict budgeting and controlling costs of materials, labor, and plant expenses.Selected Achievements:◼Revitalized plant to profit from a net negative $1.7M in revenue to an 8% profit and revenue of $7M in 1-year, and then up to $15M – this was achieved by ◾Reducing staff by 43% to keep labor costs under 10% of revenue ◾Developing and implementing tight budgeting ◾Controlling supply spend and requiring sign off on purchase orders (POs)◼Earned $200K in bonuses over 4-years by driving business development initiatives ◼Maintained profit margins of between 15-20% YoY◼Introduced a no-inventory shop operation, producing products upon order ◼Key contributor in designing Green Belt Training for shop employees and Yellow Belt Training for leadership personnel, based on the 5S and 8 Waste System models to aid in continuous improvement◼Led the Georgia plant to achieve 4-years without a lost time accident
