I am a litigator and represent the interests of the world’s largest domestic and international insurers in connection with a wide range of liability coverage matters. I have tried and litigated numerous cases to successful resolution in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitral forums, across the country and throughout the Midwest. I also regularly advise clients on matters that are not in litigation and develop risk management strategies through modeling for existing claims. I focus my practice on complex coverage claims, including pollution and health hazard claims, such as emerging coal combustion residuals (CCR) and opioid claims, and I have extensive experience with other claims, such as pollution claims arising from mining and milling operations, manufactured gas plants, and refineries, as well as asbestos and other bodily injury claims. I also have experience with first-party property damage claims.
