I have earned a Master's degree in Counseling from Liberty University and a Master's degree in Psychology and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Much of my research and clinical training has been utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy. This results-based approach is designed to partner with the client, and as a coach, give them skills and tools so they learn coping strategies to improve. You can do this, and I will partner with you.Many clients come to counseling wanting aspects of their faith integrated into their mental health treatment. I am well suited having been formally trained in both psychology and theology. As a counselor, my goal is to support my client's faith as I treat them with effective clinical skills.As a clinician of 25 years, I seek to combine sharp clinical skills with a compassionate and caring approach to my client's unique needs.

Dr. Librizzi left his full-time teaching position at Cairn University and his private practice at the Wellspring Center in NJ to move to SC for an opportunity to start, from the ground up, a Master of Science Degree in counseling. In 2020 they graduated the first class of Master Level Counselors. During his time at Charleston Southern University, he maintained the title of Associate Professor.
