William Ju, M.D. is a physician-scientist with over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and in a broad range of entities at different stages of organizational development. This includes leadership positions in business startups to Fortune 100 companies and in nonprofits. Bill is currently president and a founding trustee of Advancing Innovation in Dermatology, Inc. He has been president and chief executive officer of Follica, Inc. and chief operating officer at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. (PTCT). In addition, he has held executive positions at Pharmacia Corporation (PHA) / Pfizer, Inc. (PFE), Merck & Co., Inc. (MRK), and Hoffmann La Roche, Inc. (VTX:ROG) in a spectrum of product development functions. Bill served as project leader for SUTENT®, introduced CANCIDAS® into humans, and was part of the product development teams for CRIXIVAN® and TRANSLARNA™. Before entering industry, he was a senior staff fellow in basic research in the Laboratory of Cellular Oncology headed by Dr. Douglas Lowy at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health. Bill is a co-founder of Zoomi, Inc. and has served on the advisory council for the Keller Center at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Princeton University.
