As a member of a team of three i run and develope Fly fish Ireland with Mark and Alan Houlihan. We try to promote southern Ireland and the fly fishing it has to offer.We offer a very professional service and work hard at being at the top of our game. I feel we go as far as we can mentally and physically to make sure the people who fish with us have a really good time on the water and sometimes even off it.

I have been tying flies since the late eighties and guiding since 1999 . During that year i knew little about fly fishing for Pike or Saltwater fly fishing and knew no one who was doing either. I got two books on the subject and started developing the sport in the south of Ireland after seing the potential of what could be achieved on the Lee Valley and the southern coast. I had no fly patterns to work from so i took some ideas from the USA and some from Northern Europe . We did our research on lines , rods and leaders and continued to develope things from then as we still do today constantly asking questions of ourselves and our tackle.
