• Designed and developed numerous products including a 300W PV Micro Solar Inverter and a CFL dimming ballast platform.

• Promoted to Director of Engineering to start an Emergency Lighting Group. Began the development of fluorescent ballast that functioned as both a standard ballast and emergency lighting ballast.

• Designed and developed a new microprocessor controlled ballast platform as a key team member. Invented a filament cut-out circuit that controlled filament heating and improved ballast efficiency. Invented a way for the ballast to sense the type of lamp that it is connected to and then drive it at the appropriate power level.• Participated as key team member that designed and developed a new microprocessor controlled digital dimming ballast platform. Developed a method to modulate the light from the lamp that provided a simple way for the end-user to get a factory assigned ID address from the ballast. This information could then be used to commission the lighting network. Design and development and handheld remote that was used to decode the modulated light from the fluorescent lamp and transmit this information to the lighting network.• Designed and developed as a key team member an instant start fluorescent product line (1, 2, 3, and 4 lamp) using a new parallel lamp topology that has high efficiency. Electronic ballast also used a microprocessor with custom firmware to detect lamp end of life and shutdown the lamp.
