Designed and set up tests to measure performance of 3D printer components. Used anechoic chamber with LMS Test.Lab software, anemometers, calipers, multimeters, thermocouples, data loggers, electro-optic level sensors and cameras to collect measurement data. Data was processed with Excel, Rstudio, and GIMP image processing software. Arduino, 3D printer software and programmable controllers were used to provide control and automation of tests. Designed manufacturing fixture assemblies to insure correct and consistent assembly of cable harnesses using sheet metal and machined parts. Created BOMs and performed GD&T on drawings. Modeled car door handle assembly in Solidworks for 3D printing to demonstrate product at a trade show.

Designed and implemented new differential carrier/chain tensioner that makes tensioning the drive chain easier while also improving the drivetrain geometry, lowering costs and simplifying manufacturing. Fabricated parts with CNC milling machine, lathe and hand tools.

Learned and evaluated Fusion 360 CAD software, identified several bugs. Modeled all parts of a stapler and a two stroke engine.
