- Maintaining good customer relationships by solving customer disputes and also ensuring customers get the help they need.- Helping to bring in new customers to boost the banks’ profits and also achieve the branch’s monthly cash targets.- Cross selling the banks product to customers.- Handling foreign exchange transactions.- Balancing teller’s cash at the closure of business on a daily basis.- Coordinating all the teller activities to ensure that customers get quality service.- Reconciling and clearing all suspended transactions.- Doing call-over, that is, checking and signing back office entries posted by each teller.- Scrutinizing documents presented to the bank and customer instructions to ensure they are authentic.- Reporting suspicious transactions are ensuring that the Know Your Customer and Money Laundering policies are adhered to.- Any other duty as assigned from time to time.
