Repositioned and refreshed a long-standing restaurant brand once the top of the town, then victim of falling behind the times, back to its former glory and to rave reviews in a couple short months with no prior restaurant or hospitality industry experience. Utilized 3D scanning and 3D printing to plan and restore the property to its former glory in keeping with the building's architectural significant and character.There is always a reason to do something, so to prevent doing everything, I aim to focus on what there are many reasons to do. That lead me to the decision to venture out from my experience as a tech and education entrepreneur to explore a more traditional industry: Fine Dining. The reasons: 1.) Great place for meetings and networking 2.) [I hope you didn't think you were going to get the rest of the story without stopping in for lunch to ask...]Shameless Yet Tasteful Self-Promotion:You absolutely must try our fresh made desserts. The sorbet is by far my favourite, and seeing as I am frequent flyer at Villa Cornelia, the changing dessert selection and daily flavours are a huge plus. The Villa Signature Tenderloin Sandwich with soup and sorbet is definitely my lunchtime favourite pick. With so many lunch meetings, it's great to have a destination close by that I can never get tired of! Coming from the tech-industry, it's great to know I have a superb team in place that is capable of creating unique and interesting dishes on a daily and weekly basis, you can dine with us 3-days a week for the rest of your life and never have to have the same meal twice! Each month, from September to June, the club brings prominent Canadians to the city to speak on topical issues of national and international interest in the arts, history, business, finance, education, law and politics.Meetings are generally held over lunch and are hosted at the Double Tree by Hilton.
