As someone who suffers from chronic back pain, I found it very difficult to deal with the fact that the only options for someone like me were either surgery, or highly addictive pain killers. After searching long and hard, I came across information on medical marijuana and how it works to alleviate chronic pain and muscle spasms. I was skeptical at first as my whole life I was told that marijuana is a drug and I should stay away from it. But when my doctor suggested that I try hydrocodone, I thought marijuana couldn't be that bad. After learning about the benefits of this natural alternative, I decided to give it a try.After weening myself off of the pain meds peddled by big pharma, I was able to manage my pain and didn't have all of the side effects associated with OTC Meds.I wanted to help others understand how to use this medicine within the confines of the law, so I started a company that consulted between the state of Nevada, the doctors and the patients regarding the law in Nevada. I also assisted patients with filling out documentation, understanding the law and introductions to doctors. We were the first city approved company to be given a business license to provide these services.
